What do i do when i have both acne and dry skin?
those are skin conditions that contradict, yet i have both. However, my acne is mild.
Need help with occasional severe acne breakouts?
I am a 25 year old male and when I was younger my acne was a lot worse than it is now however I still about once or twice a week break out in areas such as my chin, around my mouth and nose which is the WORST spots it could happen. I do also break out in other areas of my body as well but the major area is my face. When I do break out it is usually more than one pimple and it takes about a good week for them to go away. I do pop the pimples however when I do that they always bleed for a few minutes and gets all red and nasty. Sometimes they come back but I try to squeeze them to death to make sure I get all the nasty stuff out haha. It never fails I always break out at the worst possible time when I want my face to look good.I do have very dry skin and I do also get stressed very easily. I have a feeling stress is the key to why I am having breakouts. I have tried all kinds of products like Neutrogena, Acne Free, Stridex In addition to face cream I received from my doctor. I have also a long long time ago tried Proactive but that never worked. Now I have heard and read Tons of different At Home remedies and advice that some people "claim " works but is there anything that Seriously Does Work to get rid of pimples fast?
Does anyone know any ideas on how to reduce the acne on my back and chest?

How to get rid of/hide acne scars?
I actually had pretty good skin, i would get the occasional breakout here and there but, i never really had severe acne. My dad bought me proactive, to control the oil and stop the occasional breakouts so, i used it and it worked wonders. Then i stopped using it because well my i couldn 't afford to buy it anymore. (This was back in 07 idk if its cheaper now) That 's when my skin completely went crazy and i started breaking out like crazy. It was really bad. then i used AcneFree, it was cheaper than proactive and it kinda worked but, my skin was not the same as it had been before proactive. I stopped using that and now i use neutorgena and it has helped but, now i have these red acne scars on my chin, left side of my face and forehead. It has made me so self concious and i used to be a pretty confident person. I feel like when people are talking to me they 're looking at my scars and it has not helped me with boys either. I feel like everytime a boy looks at me all they see is the scars. There 's times when i don 't even want to leave the house! I never wear foundation or powder because i don 't like it but, i 'm desperate now. How can i wear them without it looking cakey? Also what can i do to get rid of the scars? I 've been using bio-Oil for about 3 weeks but, i havent really seen a slight difference. :(
I have bad acne on my chest?
I am 14 years old and have bad acne on my chest and upper back area. I live in Florida so that means I can wear a lot of tank tops. It is so embarrasing and I 'm sick of wearing sweatshirts and t-shirts. Is there any product that can get rid of this fast? My skin is a little sensitive.
How come Doryx(doxycycline) makes some people acne worse before it gets better but not in some people?
Is it because it depends on the kind of acne you have or the condition or is it because of something else like your liver function?

Tea tree soap and aloe vera for acne?
Ok so i just brought this tea tree oil bar soap and aloe vera from trader joe 's. I am trying to get rid of acne, I washed my face with the tea tree oil bar, then applied the aloe vera jel to my face, then applied a little benzoyl peroxide(not even a dime size) and a regular moisterizer together so my face isnt so dry. will this clear my acne?
How do I get rid of my acne?
So basically after I started going to boarding school a lot of stress started to build up on my life.. and my acne started to get worse. Before I went to boarding school, my acne was pretty much under control. But at boarding school I was still using the same medication but it started to get worse... perhaps because I was in a new environment and caused a lot of stress for me. Question on acne medication immunity.?
I have not ever had bad acne really, a couple of pimples here and there that I could get rid of with some salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. Then I guess a year ago I got hid bad with a breakout (nothing close to what I have now,) and my dermatologist prescribed benzaclin. Benzaclin worked absolute MIRACLES, keeping me acne free for maybe more than a year. Then out of absolutely nowhere this year I am hit with horrible acne, like one of those kids you see that you feel bad for, thats me now. Benzaclin stopped working all together I think, salicylic acid does not work, just irritates it. So now for the question. Can I become immune/ resistant to benzoyl peroxide OR clindamycin? If yes, will using it anyway make my acne worse?I am staying away from accutane. I have read from a lot of places that it could have terrible side effects and I am not willing to take that chance.

Does anybody use Solodyn oral tablets or Retin-A Micro gel for acne?
I was given these things to try today and this is my first time trying something like this. I read some reviews about the solodyn and all of them said they broke into hives. If anybody has used these products I would like your opinion please. I 'm kinda scared to use them because I don 't want to have a mess since my acne isn 't very bad to begin with.Also does everybody go through a stage of breaking out really bad when they use the medication? I 'm not sure if I want to go through that. I would much rather just deal with my face the way it is now instead of deal with the massive breakout and the peeling skin.
Skin too dry from acne medication?
the other day i started using eryacne and doxycycline prescribed by my doctor. before i used 2% salycylic acid st.ives apricot scrub and my doctor said to continue to use this if it wasnt too drying. now after i apply the eryacne gel my skin gets flaky where i put it on. So should i use something gentler like cetaphil before applying eryacne or should i just continue with my st.ives wash and just apply a moisturiser? also does anyone have experience with these two treatments? how long does it take for it to get rid of your pimples?

I have PCOS, which has acne as one symptom. It 's not as sever as it could be, but I 'd still like to clear it up.
