Acne Gel - Skin Care

Question: When direction states to apply the acne gel on the skin..is it ok to just put it on the skin?or massaging it ?

Since the tube of the gel is pointed...i wud usually just put some on top of my face w/o touching the gel itself....is this JUST ok??or RUBBING IT IN is a must??

I usually put the medicine on my finger and DAB the affected area. rubbing just spreads oils and dirt to other areas of your face that might not be affected by acne.
