When i dont use acne products, my face clears?

Question: When i dont use acne products, my face clears?

How is that? I decided to do an experiment because I noticed how my siblings (who are also teens) have clear faces, but they do get occasional pimples. They don't treat it whatsoever and in a week it's gone without a scar. So I noticed that when I used a good acne product, my pimple would stay and then a day later ANOTHER one would appear. But then for a week or two I decided not to use any products and I haven't gotten a single pimple/blackhead since. Is it the acne products that cause acne itself or what?

I have the same problem!!!! I think its because of all the chemicals in the acne products. i would try something more natural if you can find something. also wash your makeup off everyday.

The ingredients in most acne products are meant to fight oil and open the pores, not cause break outs. Your siblings and you sound like you have genetics that are sensitive to the ingredients used in this. Fortunately for you it seems reversed that you wouldn 't break out if you don 't use this, just use a gentle cleanser before bed that is additive, chemical free to avoid any dirt trapped in your pores as you sleep.

I get these things sometimes. Yes, some people get affected by the acne product either because your skin is sensitive or the product is too strong. I believe that you should only take the acne product once a day or once every two days. It will allow your skin to adjust to the product, so then after you can use it regularly. You should also use cream after you washed your face, I prefer aveeno, and only use a little bit. Your skin just needed to adjust to the product. I think after that you 'll be better. :) Hope this helped you!
