Acne Scar - Skin Care

Question: Does tomatoes help to get rid of acne scars?

Ok so my uncle and a friend have told me to cut a slice of potato and putting it on my face where i have my acne scars and leave it there for about 30 to 1 hours then rinse of, does this actually work?? can someone help me? do you know any other way to take acne scars off and acne?

I 'm not sure about the use of tomatoes, but i know lemons fade acne scars. i 've used them myself. squeeze a lemon, apply the juice to your face and you wont need much of it... leave on overnight anc rinse off in the am. this might burn a little bit so either dilute it or just deal, cus the burn only lasts a minute or two.

Not really helps with the scar thing but hey look at it this way at least if your sprayed by a skunk your ready :)

No, that 's not even close to being accurate. There are only three ways to permanently get rid of acne scars: *Surgery to cut out the scars (Ice pick scars) *Botox and fillers injected into the scars (Flatter "crater " scars) *Laser treatments ( "craters ") Those are the three basic ways to get rid of acne scars. All of which require a visit to the dermatologist. Best - Rene
