Need an acne solution that REALLY works?
Okay so this isn 't a question, BUT.. I have recently been struggling with minor acne.Although the two clusters i have of 3 or 4 pimples is nothing compared to what others suffer- I couldn 't resist popping every single one of those monsters.Mine are pus filled white heads which are even a bigger problem after you pop them.They ooze pus which seems like forever, then they bleed and are left open without treatment. *Popped pimples are really open wounds* Well I 've bought every cleanser, gel, ointment cleansing pad pore strip and home remedie out there and nothing has worked. I 've even tried low dosage of prescription benzoyl peroxide (5%)Now i have a solution that 's in expensive, quick and works fast.You 'll need:Prescription benzoyl peroxide cream(if you already have it, it just increases your results)70% medical alcoholNeosporin (cream works best)Cotton balls or padsCotton swabsAnd band-aids.1. Wash your face with a facial cleanser ( it wont improve acne like they say they do but it does remove dirt and oil from your pores like it should)2. Apply a nickel sized amount of alcohol to your cotton pad or ball and apply over your popped pimples (use a seperate cotton ball for each infected area)3. Apply a very small amount of neosporin to the infected area and ONLY the infected, popped pimples ( If you use too much your pores will become clogged again and if there is any dirt left on your skin it 'll make a perfect breeding area for new clusters to form. Also bacteria will be come resistant to this when you 'll need it for bigger cuts and abrasions).4. After this solution dries half way take another cotton swab and apply your prescription BP over where you applied the neosporin. 5. Now apply a band-aid over each infected area and remove 8 hours later.Do this every other night and you 'll soon have better looking skin.

I have tried everything from clean & clear to neutrogena. Neutrogena just makes my skin dry and irritating and everything else just doesn 't cure my acne all the way.Nothing works for me i have not tried proactive,skin ID, or max clarity,are there any suggestions on what i should try?

I am 14...idk if my skin is oily? I gues it is because I wash my face atleast twice a day and for some reason I still get acne...it 's been reallyyyyy frustrating me. And it 's where everyone looks! Like on my chin and nose. I wouldn 't mind if it was on the side of my cheeks but it 's right in the center of my face! I need an acne cream or face wash or anything!!! Thanks P.s. What acne solution do I get for "combination skin"?
I have what they call "combination skin ". My nose, forehead and jaw are usually covered in acne because they are "oily " while my checks are dry and usually never have acne. I never had acne problems at all until I got in college. Now I can 't figure out how to solve the issues. I just graduated college, and I still can 't get rid of my acne. I tried a variety of products, but I was always doing it for "dry " skin. Now that I know I have combination skin, I 'm wondering if there is a cheap set of products that will work and help me! Which acne solution works better?
Salicylic acid or Benzoyl peroxide?I have read many different things about each so this is what I have gathered:Salicylic acid: increases the cell turnover therefore exfoliating the skin but it does not help with blackheads or whiteheadsBenzoyl peroxide: breaks up the skin cells so it helps break up the black/ whiteheads but it makes the skin red.Please tell me anything else you know because I can 't decide which to try. Can they be used together? How fast does each work on acne? Which would be better for fair/ sensitive skin?

Hi, I am a 32 year old female, suffering from acne, I never had acne when I was a teenager/ or early 20s. Started mid 20s and it is getting worse. I tried Proactive, it did work at first, but, it dried my skin so much, and paled/ took away the healthiness of skin. What is the best solution/ advise for this problem.

I have used just about every acne product on the market over the course of 5 years or so, starting early in middle school. The wipes, soaps, gels, and pills were almost all prescription and all had terrible side effects. Even the pills made my skin inflamed and peel. The only one that finally settled my ridiculously sensitive skin was Benzaclin, containing benzoyl peroxide. It stopped working about a year ago, but the acne on my face is now mild. I 'm not terribly worried about my face, but when that settled, it spread to my neck, where it proceded to invade my chest. I couldn 't wear anything lower than my collarbone, and made excuses - ruining my summer. My chest cleared up, but now my back is a nightmare. A dermatologist prescribed me Aczone, but I 'm not seeing any changes. Tea Tree Oil has been a bad choice in the past, but I 'm wondering how it 'll perform on my back, not my face. Any suggestions?! I really don 't want to lose another summer! My acne is the worst on my shoulderblades, shoulders, and upper arms. I 'm hesitant to just give the Tea Tree Oil a shot and screw up my skin more.

I 'm fifteen, and I 've had mild acne since I was about eleven. It 's not just one or two sudden blemishes, it 's groups of eight or nine. It 's horribe around the sides of my face, and on my chin. I know it 's not attractive, and somewhat disturbing. But if you 're anyone who has had acne, you 'll understand. You have to hide yourself, and you 're definately not as confident as you could be. I have like 5 or so pimples on my chin and they REALLY stand out. I also have other pimples here and there on my face but they 're not that severe. I really just want the ones on my chin to go away. I 've been using Neutrogena Grapefruit Oil-Free Acne Cleanser for about 2 weeks but I 've seen no results whatsoever. I have no cover-up makeup either. I 'm not really into makeup.
