Vitamins supplements for acne, Not topical?
I 'm not interested in hearing about any kind of topical treatment, none of them work for me. I know penicillin worked REALLY WELL to get rid of my acne but obviously I can 't be taking antibiotics regularly. What vitamin supplements could help in a similar way?

hello everyone. I take 100mg of minocycline everyday. I was taking 45mg for 8 moths but i was moved up to 100mg. I also take 1500mg of vitamin B5 everyday.I statreted thisr regimen about 3 days ago. I am also using skin products as well.Im still getting breakouts and acne. I dont really notice a diffrence.Dont forget i was on 45mg of minocycline for 8months.When Will I start to see results?

I 'm fourteen and I have pretty bad acne on my face, chest, and back. I 'm already taking some medication prescribed to me by my dermatologist as well as a daily vitamin E supplement. I 've read that Accutane, a commonly-used acne medication with many negative emotional side-effects, is just a refined form of vitamin A. Would just taking a regular vitamin A supplement pill every day have bad side-effects? Would it actually help with my acne?

I have acne. It 's not really major but it is visible on my face Honestly, I 've tried everything I can think of. Proactive (doesn 't work at all), Clearasil, natures cure...basically all of the over-counter products I 've tried. It have naturally oily skin. All that does it dry it out to the point it burns and makes my acne worse. I have just now switched to Oxy. Also I bought Zinc pills and Vitamin A pills. I heard both are used to help treat acne. I want to know if that 's true. I 'm really desperate to get rid of it asap. I eat healthy and don 't know what else to do. I don 't want to go to a doctor and am trying to use any over the counter products or natural ways I can.

Can Flintstone's vitamins cause acne?
I started taking flintstone 's vitamins and broke out badly all over my face and chest. I stopped taking them a week ago and they acne has not gone away. I 'm 24 and generally have clear skin. no topicals, or any prescribed medication ever worked long term, during the summer i would tan daily and my complexion was amazing. now that school started im not in the sun anymore and my acnes beginning to come back. i heard uv rays from the sun destroy bacteria, and that being in the sun for 15 minutes gives you your daily need for vitamin d. so my question is, will sitting under my lamp have the same effects as the uv rays from the sun and if a vitamin d supplement will help (i drink 1-3 cups milk daily) and if i sit out in sunlight during any time of the year will it have the same effect?
