Question: How could i get rid of my acne?

Hi im a teenager and i i have acne on my face around my lips and my chin and i dont like it its not as bad as others but its bad how can i get rid of it right now im using clearasil ultra daily face wash and seems likt its not working

Most of the over the counter treatments like Clearasil will never really work on proper acne. Acne is not contagious, and is not caused by eating badly or not washing much. It is normally caused by over-active sebacious glands in your skin, normally due to you being quite hormonal. The first thing you should do is go and see our doctor or dermatologist, they will probably prescribe some antibiotics, either topical or taken orally, which are very likely to cure all your acne and you will be done. However if they do not work, your doctor will likely prescribe you with Retin-A, which is a drug designed to dry up the skin and cut off the acne at the source, these may have some side-effects such as dryness of skin and itchyness, but nothing too bad. The last cause for treatment is a very powerful drug called Isostretinoin, concentrated vitamin A which almost definitley will cure you. But it is only to be used in extreme cases, because it is powerful and can have bad side effects, including extreme dryness of skin, liver problems, and depression. I sincerely hope you get over this soon :)

Use Klear Action, it 's the generic Proactiv. It works wonders, I 've been using it forever and if you keep on it, it will prevent breakouts and clear acne you have. You can get it at Walgreens for 20 bucks.

I don 't have bad acne, but my dermatologist gave me clenziderm. It is expensive, but it works very well. It is a treatment for acne, but she gave it to me to help prevent me from having bad acne. It works very well and I know other people that use it who have acne and it clears them up. I think you have to get it off of amazon.
