The main cause of acne is hormones...the pill can help if you are a girl..though it has too many long term side effects to take it for that purpose only...if you are a guy...you can tey the over the counter stuff, but it won 't really help

Ask your doctor to write you a prescription for Benzaclin. It is a cream in a little cup/ jar thing and it works really well. I use it. It isn 't as complicated and time wasting as proactiv.

Try an all natural line. When it 's all natural it can 't irritate your skin. Where as some products can irritate and damage your skin. I dealed with the same thing. :)

There are many things you can do but it depends on how your body reacts to each of them. Dont be discouraged if they dont work for you, or if they dont work instantly. 1. you can try certain cleansers to lessen the ammount of oil your body produces. just try and keep your face as clean as you can. 2. there are many products at they sell, like ProActive, like i said it depends on your body so i recomend you ask your doctor or dermatoligist. 3. if you have hair covering your forehead, try and cut it to let your skin breath more. when you sweat the oil wont build up as much. 4. I wouldnt really want to recomend pills, because hormones are a natural thing, but if you think its gonna work for you then okay. 5. And finally if all else fails, just ask your doctor of dermatoligist recoments. I must say that you should do that either way, but if you would rather see if you can handle it yourself then thats alright. I was lucky and i have never had bad acne or any acne at all. So good luck, I hope you solve your "problem ".

What the skin needs is a product that clears pores and kills bacteria, thus preventing hair follicles from clogging and turning into acne. This is what you should be looking for if you want to get rid of those ugly acne. Before trying any treatment, I suggest you read this informational source that listed the most effective acne treatments available: 17acnetreatments.com P.S. I also know someone who used to suffer from severe acne for 14 YEARS and finally got rid of it completely. She 's sharing her story at her site: 20six.co.uk/ my-acne-solution Maybe you could learn from her inspirational story . Good luck.

Try the stronger type of Clearisil or i know this sounds wierd, but put dabs of toothpast on them to dry them up or rubbing alcohol. It works!
