Go to a dermatologist and get help from the doctor. They have very good medicine and topical treatments for acne and learn how to take care of your skin. My dermatologist told me to wash my face with Cetaphil and not dry it out with too many products because that actually stimulates oil production. He actually has me moisturize lightly. Also, shea butter is very safe and doesn 't clog pore. You want to get non-comegenic products to put on your face. They don 't clog pores.

It is usually something people grow out of, i remember my teen years break outs, and i still (at 21) get the occaisional spot. one thing you could consider is laying off the treatments, e.g. instead of using them every day just once or twice a week, as some treatments dry out the skin causing the skin to respond by making more oil on the skin to stop it drying out which in turn causes more spots

There are many things you can do that might help: 1) stop touching your face. A lot of people touch their face constantly without realizing. Touching your face puts dirt and oil onto the skin. 2) wash?change your pillow case more often! at least once a week. Going past a week without washing your pillow case is not good, especially if you have oily hair. 3) try the oil cleansing method (OCM)... using oil to clean your face makes your face very smooth and moisturized. the liquid oil actually lifts hardened oil off your face. (1 part castor oil + 1 part extra virgin olive oil)...do this one to two times a week (not everyday)... 4) stop using face washes with toxic chemicals that are bad and unnatural for your skin. Use soap for sensitive skin.

Battle it for over 20 yrs. and 4 rounds of Accutane, all topicals, retinoids, I have tried everything you can think of. I had it so severe, it was pretty bad. About a year ago, I had finished my last course of accutane, and within 3 months it came back as ugly as ever. I did so much research online, and stumbled across a website called MD SKincare. THis dr claimed that the minerals in tapwater, that you don 't see, leave a residue behind that turns oily contributing to acne. He has a line of "chelators " that neutralizes these minerals when you spray it on your face or where you spray it, after you bathe, anytime you come in contact with tapwater. Since I just had it on my face, that was the only area of concern. Within 3 days, I no longer was getting the huge pus-filled zits. IT is now going on 9 months and my skin has still remained clear. This is a relatively new approach for acne treatment, and many people DO NOT know this. I tell people about it becuz it has made me so happy. I no longer have to worry about acne anymore. I have had it since 20 and now I am 36. I wish they made this years ago. So most of my adult life quit frankly sucked becuz of severe cyctic acne. You can go to Ulta or order it online. It is $32. It is called MD Skincare Hydra Pure Mist. I stockpile it and fear that they will one day stop making it. I just bought a new bottle of it today at Ulta and noticed there were no other bottles of it, I called the manager over and asked her why this was, I was just a hairs breath away from losing it. She told me she would reorder it immediately. This stuff is like gold to me. IF I had to pay $100 for it I would. There is other products, moiturizers from this line, but they are very exspensive. This spray is all I need. Sorry for such a lengthy response. I use it faithfully every day. JUSt try it
