Acne - Skin Care

Question: Can it be possible for your skin to get uses to your acne medication?

I have been changing up my acne medication for so long now. Fist is use the store brought brand, then went to the T.V bought such as Proactiv, then I went to doctor prescribed medicine. I started to notice that for each one i used. They do work, but then about a couple weeks later the medication doesn t work and i needed something stronger. So i kept going to get something thats was i thought better. Now i am going to use SkinID I hope it would work. So is it true, your skin will get uses to any medication u use?
