HiI 'm 21 and have had spots/ zits/ acne for 8-9 years now..... i 've tried every over the counter remedy possible and none have ever worked.I don 't like fish so I lack in the nutrients that gives, I also don 't like nuts, wholegrain foods etc etc - basically all the things that are good for you I don 't like - however I am going to start eating some of these foods to hopefully make myself like them as I think adding these to my diet would perhaps help clear my skin.However, I just recently bought some zinc suppliments from holland & barratt.... 250 small white tablets..... it says to take 1 a day with a meal.... so therefore there are enough tablets to last me 250 days.I just wondered - has anyone else taken zinc suppliments to clear their acne.... and if so how long was it before you noticed them taking effect?Did your acne completely clear up?Did you feel overall healthier?How long did it take for your spots/ acne to fully clear?Were you using anything else along side the zinc suppliments or just taking them on their own?Were you eating differently?etc...etc...?Any other info you can tell me would be much appreciated.Thanks in advance !!P.S - i have only taken 3 zinc tablets so far as I only bought them 3 days ago!:)thanks but i 'm not really a one for taking tablets and pills - i always wonder what they are going to do to me how my body will react to them.... i realise i have said i am taking zinc suppliments but that is different.... your body is used to zinc its not really a foreign body.... if you get me.
Can just exfoliating and washing your face regularly eventually clear acne?
I have moderately bad acne, and I 've posted a few questions about it before. But now I 've started wondering if maybe I don 't need a perscription or anything or if it would eventually clear on its own if I just gave myself a better skin care routine? I don 't have naturally bad skin, i 'm sure my acne is due to my lack of care for my skin. So what do you think?

I went to the doctor a couple months ago and she said it was mild acne. I have it on my chin, forhead and sides of my nose. But mostly my back. I already drink alot of water and I have just been washing my face with water. I have already tried all the products, believe me, they dont work. I want natural ways that worked for you. I only get bad acne on my forehead and sometimes a few on the rest of my face here and there. I 'm used to exfoliating and moisturizing every day. But it just wasn 't doing the trick. So I bought myself the Clean and Clear acne kit. I followed the directions, exfoliating, moisturizing, and spot-treating, twice a day, morning and night. I did this for four days. My skin started gradually drying up really bad on my cheeks, around my lips, and around my eyes. It was really bothering me so I stopped using the product for a whole day, just washing my face with water in the morning then moisturizing my face with Neutrogena face lotion. After that I started only using the product on my forhead and nose, where the acne usually appears and moisturizing the rest of my face with Neutrogena face lotion. But yet those areas of my face are still extremely dry and my forhead still has bad acne. My nose has a few. On the Clean and Clear box it says you 're suppose to see results within a day or so then your face is suppose to start clearing up drastically... Please help! I don 't want to face the embarassment and pain of acne anymore!

I have little to moderate acne and I need to get it off. Ive tried plenty of clensers including the top 2: Clean &Clear and ProActive. It works alittle but not enough.
