You sound like you have combination skin like me. I use Dr. Bronners soaps, it 's a vegan soap that you can use for everything, but it takes care of your skin in it 's natural pH balance and keeps it clean. I try to stay away from anything too strong (like store bought cleansers) cause they ruin my skin. It gets drier and drier, or stays oily in the places I don 't want it to. Or, go to the dermatologist, they 'll always know what to do..

You should use a purifying foam cleanser. Following by a purifying toner. Since your skin is very oily, you should use a gel textured moisturiser following by your acne spot cream.

Wash your face twice a day in warm salty water. This should leave your face oil free without aggravating the acne. Check out usefulinfo-acne.blogspot.com/ for more useful info.

Go on antibiotics from the dr. Don 't try to fix it yourself. Nothing works completely, and the dr with help a lot. I had major backne and acne on my face and it was just getting worse. when the spots stop popping up you dont have to pick at them and you are less stressed. Do not pick!! for scars USE: Cocoa butter, bio oil, and aspirinrin mask exfoliateiat everyday. With the aspirinrin mask use it once or twice a day or whenever you feel it is needed. Rub it on your skin for 2 mins then leave it on overnight or for like 10-20 mins. It leaves your skin soft right away. Then follow up with a little bio oil and then cocoa butter on the problem areas. YOu will notice results in like 2 week or less. But blot off the extra lotion with a tissue or something, oh and use like an over the counter product in the shower or to wash ur face still it helps a bit.

Look for oil free soaps such as Purpose in the bottle or Aveeno in the bar soap. Get Clearasil Pads for extra oil. Buy oil-free makeup. Wear hair off of your face. Wash hair every day. Frequently wash pillow cases. Avoid touching your face.

Acne is an inflammatory skin disorder of the face, back, and chest. Although it is usually associated with hormone during puberty, it can also affect many adults. Whiteheads, blackheads, and pimples, result from an overgrowth of bacteria in oil-clogged pores. Keeping the skin clean is very important in helping to control acne, as taking vitamins, minerals, and herbal supplements, as wells as healthy eating and exercise habits, can be very beneficial. OVERNIGHT PASTE = Honey, wheat flour, and vinegar, use it to lightly cover a new outbreak of pimples overnight, rinse off in the morning. This should accelerate the healing process. ACNE TREATMENT = Use a clean travel size bottle to mix 1 part vinegar and 10 parts water. Clean your face as usual in the morning, then carry this bottle and a few cotton balls with you so you can dab acne spots several times during the day. This solution shouldn 't dry out your skin, and the vinegar will help return your skin to a natural pH balance. This treatment may also help prevent future acne outbreaks. Discontinue use if irritation worsens. Doing Aerobic exercise daily will help sweat the acne away. Try a Detoxification. Drink 6 - 8 glasses of filtered water daily. Eat more raw vegetables. Eat yogurt with live cultures. Read More Information.......

This article is related to the face but may be helpful. External Acne Care: The Pros and Cons of Washing Your Face Acne is basically an internal condition triggered by several underlying factors. However, there are additional external acne symptoms that may enhance the formation of acne or interfere with the healing process of your existing acne on the external level (e.g. the external acne environment). Without handling these external triggers, it will be very difficult for anyone to overcome their acne challenge, especially when the holistic treatment is performed while the individual still suffers from “live” and “evolving” acne. Clogged or very large pores, oily or very dry complexion and bad skin hygiene do not cause acne but they interfere with the healing process of the skin and make your external acne environment more prone or “susceptible” to acne. Taking care of your skin on a daily basis by incorporating simple and easy to follow protocols may not only enhance the healing process of your existing acne it will also balance your skin ph levels, making it smooth, even toned, radiant and healthy looking. Although there are many types of cleansers available for different purposes (exfoliation, clean, medicate), washing your face twice a day using a gentle antiseptic and anti-bacterial 100% natural soap like tea tree oil soap, or Cetaphil soap can help reduce inflammation, swelling and redness and significantly improve the overall appearance of your skin without the irritation, allergy reactions and over-dryness that over the counters like Benzoyl Peroxide can cause. Washing your face should always come after a good 5 minutes steaming routine. After the steaming, follow these 3 easy steps: 1. Use lukewarm water to get the soap wet. 2. Apply the soap to your face using your fingertips in a circular motion. 3. Wash your face gently and pat your skin dry using a cotton towel. If your sebaceous glands are producing too much oil (due to hormonal imbalance that should be fixed internally), then you probable have excessively oily skin and large pores. To tackle that problem externally, do not use alcohol and water astrigent, instead use soap like Neutrogena clear pore oil Controlling astrigent or even better apply an all natural mask made of bentonitre or egg whites. An extremely dry skin can also be treated internally through balancing oil secretion protocols and dietary changes and supplementation, including the regular intake of 10 glasses of pure water on a daily basis. As for the external care, applying lots of good quality moisturizer such as 99% Aloe Vera gel while avoiding harsh and un-natural external care products; can significantly reduce your dryness. Warning: Excessive washing of the face can cause mild to moderate irritations and increase redness and inflammation, defeating its own purpose. If you have sensitive skin, the best practice is to test each product prior to using it, using dollar size amount on your chin, regardless of its quality or the nature of its ingredients. I 'd recommend using Hydroviton CR which is a medicated cleanser that contains organic micro-spheres that penetrate to the deepest layers of the skin to deeply moisturize, while at the same time removing toxins, bacteria, and regulating sebum production. It is the ideal cleanser for acne sufferers that provides immediate results. naturalwellbeing.com/ hydroviton-cf-foundations-p224.cfm

If acne is treated early, it usually responds well to treatment. The main aim of treatment is to stop new pimples from forming, heal pimples, prevent scarring and lessen the embarrassment associated with acne. Mild to moderately severe acne may be treated with over-the-counter gels, lotions, and creams such as benzoyl peroxide which is applied directly to the skin. Oral antibiotics may also be prescribed to reduce inflammation while oral contraceptives have also shown to improve acne. In episodes where acne is extremely severe, another oral medication known as Isotretinoin (Accutane) is one of the most effective treatments with successful results. However, all these medications can cause negative side effects and it is important that you inform your health practitioner or dermatologist immediately. It is also important to develop a good skincare routine that involves cleansing your skin in the mornings, evenings and after workouts. By adjusting your lifestyle and incorporating a healthy diet, exercise, drinking lots of water and getting adequate sleep will also help to make a significant difference to your skin’s appearance. Herbs have proven to be a more natural, gentle alternative for the treatment of acne rather than the harsh, synthetic chemicals used in over-the-counter products and conventional medications. Not only are herbal remedies safe and effective to use, they also support the skin, immune and digestive systems. Two carefully selected herbal ingredients such as Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree Oil), Azadirachta indica and Arctium lappa contain antibacterial, anti-fungal and antiseptic properties and are not only effective for acne but for other skin conditions too. Other herbs such as Aspalathus linearis (Rooibos) and Bulbine frutescence have wonderful antioxidant and healing properties and also help to prevent skin infection and provide ongoing relief. In addition, Lavender Essential Oil acts as a circulatory stimulant and antiseptic, and is used to treat burns and wounds and to prevent scarring. You will get detailed info on these remedies here if you wish healthherbsandnutrition.com/ remedies/ a/ acne.htm Good Luck!
