Question: What are the methods or tips to clear acne and have clear skin?

Oily foods such as fast food would add to an increase amount of acne (STAY AWAY FROM FAST FOOD) Fruits and vegetables are the best ways to prevent acne building in the first place. You can pretty much pick up any counter top acne cream at your local supermarket and it will work, however when it says "apply 3 (whatever it may say) times a day. " You better apply it 3 times a day or else it won 't work. |

It depends, what type of acne do you have? Most often the cause is hormones and requires medication only a doctor can prescribe. I partially disagree with anyone who says greasy/ oily foods can flare acne. The only way these foods can flare acne is eating them on a daily basis and not washing your hands and face after eating said foods. It 's touching your face after eating that flares the acne. A healthy diet is important. Drinking enough water a day can dramatically change the look and feel of your skin. Although diet has never been proven to contribute to acne, I believe it does and a lot of people would agree. I was so sick of my acne I made some big lifestyle choices that have really helped. Once the concept of diet affecting acne was introduced to me, I started looking at my diet. After keeping track of what I ate daily, I quickly began thinking, "No wonder I have acne! " I was eating a lot of sweets and carbohydrates and a whole lot of dairy. Cutting dairy improved my condition dramatically. Dairy contains animal hormones and like our hormones, they can have an affect on acne. Watching what I ate really helped the issue. With any acne treatment (lotions, toners, cleansers etc.) it is important to only use the product once a day if you have never used it before. |
