Cystic acne on body!!!!!?
ive never gotten cystic acne on my face but i have gotten it on my genital area due to sweating. now, i think i have one under my left breast. im pretty sure it 's cystic acne because there 's a hard bump that goes deep inside and it hurts. what do i do??? im scared im gonna start getting it on my face....

If you 're going to reccomend Accutane not only will I give you a "thumbs down " but I will not listen to what you say. I have seen too many things about Accutane and hear them as well to know I don 't want to go on it.For anyone else, please give me some ideas for treating my cystic acne! Any topical remedies that might work? What about prescription drugs that aren 't as harsh as Accutane? Please help I am so frustrated with stupid cystic acne!
Is this cystic acne? What kind of acne is this?
I get really weird acne! Sometimes I get blackheads or surface pimples, and those I 'm not to worried about. But sometimes I get these hard bumps that feel like they 're way under the skin, and after a few days you can see dark blue/ purple pools of liquid under the surface of my skin where the bumps where. I can 't pop them usually with my fingers so I poke them with a pin to let the blood drain. Sorry if this is gross, but its like dark blood with a bit of puss particles in it but it 's mostly blood. And if I can 't pop it it usually goes away but it takes usually a month, sometimes less, sometimes more. And then it just fades away. This is weird... I think it might be cystic acne, but why is it so much blood and hardly any pus? Any good treatments for this?For everyone who thinks it 's gross, grow up! It 's just a bodily problem. If you didn 't want to know, you didn 't have to keep reading.

How can I treat cystic acne scars without prescription meds or a natural way?
I 've been off accutane for a few months but now I have a few cystic acne scars on the side of my face from the severe acne I had. What kind of cream could I use or natural supplement could I take to heal the scars, repair the damaged skin or make the cystic acne scars shrink. Please do not recommend any facial peels, doctor prescription drugs or injections. I 've had a few shots of cortizone to the scars but with minimal results and I spent alot of $$. I 'm currently using over the counter Cicaplast cream which costs me $25 for a small tube.
Anyone got an injection for cystic or nodule acne before? i'm skeptical of this? how were your results?
the doctor wanted to give me injections for my acne. i have a few big red bumps that pop up once in a while and i think there 's a nodule or hard flat surface like acne bump on my cheeks and it 's going down slowly. i didn 't let him do it because of general physician said the pimple will still exist internally after the shotbasically i want to know if it 's safe and how were your experiences? did it get rid if it for good?

I used to have like 1 or 2 pimples on my face throughout my teenage years.. never really severe, except the first year I go my first acne. After that, I was pretty much fine. Now I 'm 19, and I 'm getting pretty severe acne! I have no idea why! I am like OCD with like germs and hygiene, therefore, I wash my face twice/ day! its like a strict routine that I have and sometimes I wash it even 3 times a day. Im getting like cystic acnes on my cheeks. They look bad, they hurt, and it 's just plain embarassing. So Im calling the dermatologist tomorrow, and I accutane is my last resort. Do you know if they subscribe you a special lotion or ointment for cystic acne that cant be purchased off the counter??
Cystic acne question.?
I have been having reoccurring lesions, I have been getting one or two on my scalp and one on my shoulder or back for the past year. I went to the doctor today and he says cystic acne. I am unsure because they do not drain and feel hard smaller than a pencil eraser and they last for over a month. I put drawing salve on them and neosporin along with tea tree oil and nothing seems to help. They produce a tough clear scab and do not open but still leave a scar. Any ideas.
How can I finally heal my horrible cystic acne without going on accutane?
I was on yaz for my acne, which cleared it up alot. Then I switched to ortho tri cyclen, which made me break out badly again. So I got back on yaz. Been back on yaz for 2 1/ 2 months now, and I am still breaking out! Dermatologist also put me on tetracycline and spironolactone about 2 weeks ago, but it is not helping. Any advice on what to do? Accutane is too expensive for me plus I have heard about the awful side effects.

Everything seems to have salycic acid in it! And all I keep hearing is how proactiv dries skin really bad or just doesn 't seem to really work on the cystic acne. I don 't want to take antibiotics or go on expensive drugs like accutane. Is there anything over-the-counter that could help?
Cystic acne, is there a way to treat without drugs?
I am 20 years old, and this last two years I have had the most intolerable acne. I 've seen a doctor and dermatolgist, but the creams and antibiotics would make it worse. I never stayed with a treatment for more then 3 weeks because they would get worse (I know some are supposed to get worse before getting better) but I could not bear to see it. I feel huge pockets of stuff under my skin, especially on my forehead. I try and fight the urge to pop them but sometimes I breakdown something in my mind takes over cause I need it out of my skin, and I end up taing a war to my face and making it ten times worse. I am a intelligent, attractive guy otherwise, but I cannot function with this crap in my skin. I have changed my diet, consume vegetables leafy greens and fruit everyday. One thing I can 't escape is my job. I work at a car dealership in texas and sweat profusely, I counter this with rinsing my face with cool water and drinking 4 5 and even 6 water bottles daily.I have heard that acne is the result of too many toxins in the body that the body can 't get to all of it and it shows up in skin. To me it makes sense because the skin is an organ and something must be wrong, but then I always hear it 's just too much sebum or oil production, or a specific bacteria. I 'm feeling like nobody knows for sure and I 'm going to have a deformed scarred face before I 'm done. I;m so bummer about it I can 't even "perform " when I 'm with girls because I know I can 't be as confident around their bodies with my face, I can just imagine them feeling my bumps between their legs...I know i know I;m tripping. I guess I;m asking if anyone has felt like this and found a real bonafide web information source or a good dermatoligist in the dallas fort worth area to help them. I search the web and get bogus creams and these so called professional websites that all advertise for these same creams. Proactive worked but my skin got dry dry dry . What can I do or go? HELP!Also, I have heard amazing things about accutane and my dermatoligst (which I think did not like me so I 'm switching I guess if i can afford a new one) said he saw no trouble with it in his 15 years, but I have heard from people online who have lost their hair, got permanant organ damge, I am borderline to afraid to mess with it. Would be truly ironic to have great skin and no hair and a shot liver...
Natural treatment for cystic acne?
My daughter is 16 and has had serious acne problems since 4th grade. She 's seen a dermatologist since then as well, and is tired of nothing working. She 's frustrated and wanting to try a dietary approach. Does any one have suggestions for her? She 's bumped up fiber, added B vitamins and zinc, and eliminated the majority of dairy. Cystic acne...urine test?
I have been prescribed with cystic acne and must go to the hospital every month for my prescription. I do not understand why i must take a urine example with me, as I am under the age of 16, therefore i shouldn 't be having a physical relationship at the moment anyway. Is this really neccesary and why must I take them because i really would prefer not to!I 'm not planning on getting pregnant or do anything or the sort, so i do not see why it is neccesary. Can they not just test blood?

Cystic acne linked to irregular use of birth control pills? Please Help?
I suffered from very bad acne as a teenager. I started taking the contraceptive pill (Dianette) when I was 16 and over the course of two years it cleared up my acne. I still got the occassional break-out but nothing major. I also have some acne scarring.Anyway earlier this year I stopped taking the pill as I didn 't like the idea of taking unnecessary hormones etc. My acne did not return, I had no skin problems apart from, again, the odd pimple. Everything was fine.About a month ago I started taking Dianette again (for contraception). However I divide my time between two houses and regularly forget to take it, missing one or two pills a week. This week I developed what I am assuming is cystic acne on my face - three really big hard lumps under the skin on my chin, very painful, like acne spots except nothing but oil comes out - when I attempted to squeeze two of them (no white pus, just clear oil).In all my years of suffering from acne I have never got this kind of severe cystic acne. They are huge and horrible. What do I do? Continue on Dianette and take it every day? Or stop taking it altogether? What can I do to prevent any more forming?Please help!:( Is my recent development of cysitc acne linked to/ caused by taking the pill irregularly?

I dont have much money to spend on anything expensive i did try clean and clear acne kit made it worse and proactiv did not help. i need something and something fast these cystic like ance comes on my chin and it hurts and its embarrassing at my age i never had these in my life until just a few months ago. i am not on birth control bills so i dont have that extra hormones in my body and i am not pregnant either. is there any sugesstions?
How can I treat cystic (?) acne?
Cystic with a (?) next to it because I 'm not entirely sure if it is. All I know is that it 's one huge (and I mean it,) zit located on my nose. It looks literally as if I 'm growing a second nose, and since the first day of school is around the corner, I 'd rather have it removed as soon as possible. So far I 'm treating it with Eritromicina (I believed the English term for it would be Erythromycin,) but apart from making it sting painfully, it isn 't doing anything. Does anyone have an at-home remedy for bad acne? I really don 't want to enter school with an extra nose. ~_~
Does anyone else suffer from cystic (nodular) acne? I am 27?
years old and nothing I have done helps. I have tried antibiotics, retin A, and just about everything you can buy over the counter. Pro Activ. Nothing seems to phase it. I am not eligible for Accutane cause I have a history of depression, partly because of the acne. It 's so bad that when it flares up, I won 't leave the house some days. I am looking for treatment specifically for cystic acne...?
I have had cystic acne for about 7 months. All located in the same area of my lower left chin. It has never been anywhere else but this one spot and has been pretty steady since my first breakout. I recently got on Tetracycline (about a week ago) and it hasn 't done much at all. I am not sure how long it takes to work. Obviously topical treatments don 't work since the infection is under the skin. Does anyone know of vitamins that can safely reduce sebum production or help prevent they cysts from coming back if the Tetracycline clears them up? I am desperate, I don 't want scars, the rest of my skin is in excellent shape!p.s. It is near impossible to get into a dermatologist around my area, I have an appointment for November - that was the earliest they could see me.

I have suffered from cystic acne for a long time now (I 'm 21 and I have had it since I hit puberty). I used to get it really bad on my back. I still get a few on my back but I mostly get it on my face now... usually no more than two or three at a time, but I 'd still like to know if there 's any way to get rid of it. I was put on BC pills (TriNessa) to help with a hormonal imbalance and clear acne. However, its been about 4 months and i cant say it 's helped very much. I still get huge cysts under the skin that leave scars.I 'm also using products from my derm...benzoyl peroxide wash, clindamycine lotion, retin a, every single night.What else can I do...maybe natural methods?? (diet, supplements, etc.)Thanks!!i forgot to add, i was on antibiotics and they made me sick and did not help at all. also, i was going to switch but i got scared because a lot of people complained about the one i was going to switch to (Yasmin).yes i have a somewhat high level of testosterone. the derm thinks i dotn have pcos because im not overweight and have some facial hair but not excessively. idk, i might have a slight case of it.also, i do skip a day here and there, so i dont overdo it.
What can I do about my acne (cystic)?
I couldn 't shave because it made me break out in cystic acne and white heads.I had a HORRIBLE! break out in january out of no where (i had this problem the summer before) and in february was prescribed doxycycline which did an AWESOME job at clearing my face. So now (june) they decide to take me off the pills cold turkey. = And my mom trimmed my facial hair down because I was looking really rough.So now I 'm breaking out a little bit along my jaw/ chin area... the same area I was having trouble with before the pills. And I know you shouldn 't take antibiotics for a long time because you could build up a tolerance for it if you needed to take it for infection and it can mess up your intestinal tract.But what am I going to do!?! I can 't shave or even trim my facial hair without breaking out without the pills but I can 't take the pills forever.I just want to bang my head on the desk this is so frustrating.Either way it seems like I lose. = (I tried proactiv it worked for a while but then it just stopped working so i had to switch.I think I build up a tolerance for stuff like that because I frequently have to switch cleansers and stuff to stay clear.

hi, i 'm 17 and i have moderate cystic/ nodule acne. and i was wondering if benzaclin would help. my insurance does not cover it so i would have to pay $160 for such a small bottle but im willing to do that if i know it would help my with my acne.

Persistent cystic acne?
I am lucky enough not to have severe acne, BUT I am frustrated with stubborn cysts that keep forming. I tried antibiotics (which made me nauseous), benzoyl peroxide wash, clindamycine, retin a (all from the dermatologist) with not much luck. I get some surface pimple, but many form under the skin. They get so SORE and are really hard. They don 't really come to a head. I would call them cysts, but my problem is, there 's no real direct treatment for them, is there?Please, if you have cleared your cysts, let me know how! Thanks= ]

i have been really stressed out lately and developed a big cystic pimple on my forehead. i don 't get acne regularly; this is my first big pimple in over 2 years. any advice to help it go away sooner?i also want to note that i am really healthy and i have a very clean diet. i have been using benzoyl peroxide 5%, tea tree oil, and ibuprofen for the swelling.any other suggestions?

I have had two cystic "pimples " (i guess that 's what you call those) near my nose in the past three weeks. My skin almost never breaks out. I have only get a few very small pimples every once in a while. Last night, a "cystic pimple " popped up on my nostral, and it makes my nose look uneven. When I had my first one, it wasn 't too noticable because it was just beside my nose. This one is on my nose. How can I get this to go away? You can 't pop them...

Suggestions about how to clear up cystic acne
Hi all! Any feed back on this would be much appreciated! I 'm 25 years old and for the past few years been suffering from cystic pimples mostly on my cheeks and chin. Ive been on multiple oral antibiotics that were supposed to kill whatever infection was under my skin and none have helped, I 've tried Pro Active and that was a nightmare just made it 20 x worse! Ive also tried numerous topical creams that pretty much dried my skin so bad the pimples would peel and bleed and look even worse. I dont have a severe case but its pretty bad in my eyes, i have scars all over my cheeks and chin and am becoming tad bit depressed over it, i dont know what else to do without having to try accutane which i really do NOT want to do. Anyone have any helpful suggestions? Anyone have or had this problem and the outcome was successful? I 'm all ears...

i find it really annoying when at school i am sitting there in pain, and people tell me to get over it its just pimples, when infact they aint "just " pimples they are cystic. They cause me soooooo much pain it is not even funny. I cant wait until they get it so i can make fun of them. Anyways, i need help, how can i get rid of it? I went to the doctor and he prescribed me with Doxylin 50 while waiting for the appointment with the dermy. They hurt heaps and i want them gone, they have caused me to now not being able to much with my arms.Thanks,Joel
