I have cystic acne and i have tried everything that target and walgreens has to try and get rid of it, and i was wondering if anyone knew of any other product that might work, or should i just go to a dermatologist. Because i don't have a lot of acne i just get bumps once in a while around my chin and nose that can be very painful, so any and all suggestions will be really appreciated.

For drugstores the burts bee acne wash has a special indredient for cysts like isotridione or something like that and it works fab. If you go 2 a derm duac is a very good prescription cream but my bro has used it for 3 days and he has cysts and his skin has never looked better! These both work wonders try them! Hope I helped!

Cystic acne is different from the usual acne (which is called acne vulgaris). Unfortunately, as you 've discovered, cystic acne is much tougher to treat so it 's common for sufferers to find the over the counter stuff to be ineffective. You might consider a visit to the regular doctor or dermatologist, taking care to bring a list of all the stuff you 've tried without success so far. Good luck!
