Is laser-type treatment for slight small acne OK?
I 'm 47 and am on mental health meds, which cause acne. The amoxicillin that my dermatoligist prescribed got rid of the back acne (bacne). However, there were small amounts of acne-like spots on my forehead area. My dermatoligist treated them with some sort of device that shocked the acne and he said to leave it alone, these small acnes - some were like little warts that won 't go away with benzoyl peroxide. He said in a few days the treated areas will peel. Has anyone had this treatment? What exactly is it called? The small acnes on my forehead were stubborn so he said these treatments would help. I had no acne when in my twenties and was young but have it now from the meds...
Can it be possible for your skin to get uses to your acne medication?
I have been changing up my acne medication for so long now. Fist is use the store brought brand, then went to the T.V bought such as Proactiv, then I went to doctor prescribed medicine. I started to notice that for each one i used. They do work, but then about a couple weeks later the medication doesn t work and i needed something stronger. So i kept going to get something thats was i thought better. Now i am going to use SkinID I hope it would work. So is it true, your skin will get uses to any medication u use?
I dont try to be pretty and stuff becuase i have acne?
I dont dress that well i just wear wahetev i have. I dont wear make up and my acne well pimple comes sometime and its mostly red small bumps and scars. I have the same ponytail everyday which makes my head look bigger. Should i try to be more like leave my hair and stuff? Also my period hasnt come its been 5 days it was supposed to be my 3rd period? i do have back pain and leg pain

Dettol [antiseptic cream] for acne?
I 've been using this for 2 days, and my acne has dramatically cleared up. How do I get rid of 3 acne bumps on my chest that won't go away? It's been over 6 months.?
I have 3 acne bumps on my chest. They are close to the same area. Middle upper chest. They have been there for over 6 months. I have tried clearsil spot treatment, and I am now trying Tazorac. What other stuff could I try using? I don 't have much money. I leave for the Air Force in a month and would like to try to get rid of them. Thanks!Thanks for the answers so far! How do I get rid of acne at age 23?
Alright so I 've never been the one to have severe acne like you see on acne commercials or anything. But I 've had mild acne from my teen years on, as is normal it cleared up some after my teens. But starting this winter it got just as bad as in my teens again. I 've followed a regimen I found on acne.org where I washed my face using Cetaphil Bar soap, used On the spot neutragena acne cream(2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide) and then used cetaphil lotion for about 5 years now. I read that cleanser is better than the bar soap for dry skin, which i think that i have so i switched to that and I get about the same results. I feel like I can 't go a week without a pimple popping up, and with all the red marks from pimples that I used to have it leaves my skin looking awful and I 'm very insecure about it. Does anyone have any suggestions? PS. I do drink water a lot, work out daily, I have a window cracked in my room to cycle fresh air.. do my best to avoid touching my face, I don 't eat the healthiest all the time but its not like I 'm eating greasy foods constantly...--- I live in upstate NY. So yes the air is especially dry during the winter
14 year old boy: How to remove red marks/acne/pimples?
Ok so Im 14, Im a guy. I also have a bit of unwelcome skin problems = \Basically around the top of my mouth (between my mouth and nose), chin and bits of my cheeks I have weird red marks and bumps which I assume is some sort of acne.I accidentally slit the very top of one while shaving and blood came out... Also I suffer mildly from pimples.I dont like these red marks and pimples and Ive tried Proactiv but it doesnt really help very much.Id like some home remedies for removing the marks, I can show you a picture of what it kind of looks like. What do i do about this acne?
In highschool I had acne pretty bad..not HORRIBLE but probably a medium case if you think of the most acne prone kids in highschool. Anyway I 'm 22 now and I don 't get craazy amounts of acne like i use to...But it still seems like there is never one week that my face doesnt have one spot of acne that is blotching up my face.Right now I have a very annoying large pimple on my forehead and and spot on my cheek that is pretty noticeable and like puffy and red. the spot on my cheek isnt like circle and looking like a pimple but it 's really swollen looking and I can feel it 's puffy...I wash my face pretty much every morning and every night, and sometimes during the day if I feel oily. Anytime I notice a pimple I apply some spot treatment to it. I did that with these 2 things and it seems they tripled in size!!! wtf. I don 't know what the hell I 'm supposed to do to get rid of this stuff OR stop it?!
I just went to the doctor and I got an acne medication, i was wondering what I should use for a mild cleanser.?
So i read the instructions and it says before i apply the new medication i should wash my face with a mild cleanser ... I have normal skin, not to oily, not to dry -can I use a Dove Soap Bar? will it make my skin to dry?? -can I use the cleanser that im using right now? (Clean and Clear advatange acne foaming wash/ cleanser) Is there any other mild cleansers that I can pick up from a drug store? Thanks for your help :)
Red dots on my cheek but no acne?
i had acne on my cheek for a while but i have been on medication for 3 months and the red spots on my cheek has been there for a month and i have no pimples on my cheeek anymore. when i touch my cheek it is smooth but why do i have these red dots on my cheek? Are there any good acne pills for back acne?
I have severe back acne, and I cant do washes and cleansers because they require you to do that 2 or 3 times a day and that 's a big inconvenience to do considering it 's on your back, and to do that throughout the day. So I am wondering if there is a good pill that will get rid of back acne/ cystic acne. I am sick of tanning to cover it up please give me real answers and if this certain pill has worked for you. thanks.

During my freshmen year of high school I got hard lumps of acne on my neck and jawline. I am the type of person to obsess over things like that and I pinched, picked at and pulled on the acne. I also rolled the acne through my fingers. This was usually a nervous habit of mine when i was taking tests, doing class work or homework at home and other time when i was thinking or something. I do remember on some occasions pulling quite hard and this habit lasted for around 4 or 5 months and with 6 hours of school a day I think i probably was messing with my skin a lot. Im really self-conscious about the possibility of me stretching out my skin. It isn 't even just looks im concerned about. I just feel like my face is really droopy as if it is made out of dough (when i bend over too it feels like i have extra skin that hangs or moves around). I don 't no if I am just over obsessing or something but I was just wondering if anyone had some insight into whether or not it is possible to stretch skin by just pulling on it a few hours a day.Thanks for your time!!
Why is my acne so bad?
I honestly do NOT understand why my acne is getting so bad. I wash my face 3x a day with a gentle cleanser, i moisturize when my skin is dry, I put acne treatment on when I get zits, I exfoiliate everyday, if not every other day, I even eat healthy foods! Yet, I still have zits popping up here, there, and everywhere and my blackheads are out of control on my nose! My complexion isn 't the greatest either. I am starting to think I have a little rosasia on my cheeks. What do I do? Could this be from stress, or am i missing a key factor in facial hygene? also, how can I improve my complexion? Thank you.

What are the best treatments for acne scarring?
the scarring isn 't extreme and its on both cheeks. i don 't have breakouts and haven 't any in about 10 years. i do get a pimple from time to time but i guess everyone does on occasion. so anyway are there any treatments i could get i know about dermabrasions(didn 't work for me and expensive). what else can i do and what treatment is the best. or maybe a cream a doctor can prescribe that will help my problem. or maybe a store brand. i have used mederma, vit-c bio-oil tetracycline, accutane and a few others with no results, well mederma seemed to work a little but after a while stopped. and retin-a worked for my acne when i was young would it work for scarring. thnx, and please no proactiv cause i used it and it sucked ass, and no bullshit home remedies i 'm not gonna go into my fridge and cabinets unless i 'm gonna make something to eat. so please don 't reply if your gonna recommend those solutions.

OK I saw this ad on teennick of this like i dont know its not like a cream its like a little electronic thing and i think it was orange. it was like if you put it on a developing pimple it 'll get rid of it within a day. i think it had something to do with the word hot, either that was in the name or the commercial said something about hot like the product working because of hot like i really dont know . please help!
