Is this combination for treating acne harmful to my skin?

Question: Is this combination for treating acne harmful to my skin?

I use Olay oil-free foaming face wash morning and night. I follow it up with Clean and Clear deep cleaning 2% salicylic acid astringent, also morning and night, and just before going to bed I use Clearasil 10% benzoyl peroxide spot treatment. I have only been using this for two days and have already seen a slight reduction in acne but I was worried that the combination of salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide may be causing harm to my skin. Is it true? And if it is, can you please recommend me some other combination or treatment I can use. My acne has been really bad lately, and I really want it gone =/

I try to stay away from the washers and stuff. Doesn 't really work :P For the last year I 've been having some acne as well. I 've been given all sorts of creams and such, but recently my mom found out about apple cider vinegar. It has worked better than anything else I have tried. Basically, I use Bragg 's Apple Cider Vinegar, mix it with like a cup of water added with honey and drink that everyday. Also, before I go to sleep I apply some of the vinegar directly on the pimples/ acne. It really works. The only thing is that it kinda smells but it 's only on your face at night so... My face cleared up really fast. The pimples basically go away and you don 't even have to pop them or anything. Good luck! (btw this is all natural so it 's not harmful to your skin) :]

Try skipping the salicylic acid & just using the benzoyl peroxide. or at least use one every other day. or else it 's really gonna dry your skin out.

Be really careful. All of the salicylic acid can definitely dry your skin and cause it to flake. You might want to only use it once a day, and then follow up with a deep moisturizer that isn 't too oily.
