Treat Acne - Skin Care

Question: How to treat acne and dry skin at home??

Hi. i have acne on my forehead and cheeks. i have a few different products that help get rid of my acne, but when i use them they make my skin REALLY dry. does anyone have any ways i can use household items to get rid of my acne AND keep my skin moisturized. Also, i don't have access to any fancy oils or anything.

The same thing happened to me, i use benzoyl peroxide on my cheeks and it causes my skin to not only get very dry but sensitive. Over the past year ive tried many products & the combo i love right now is Olay Foaming Face Wash for Sensitive Skin & Olay Complete Moisturizer for sensitive skin.. if the product you use for ur acne is face wash and you do not want to switch, id suggest Ponds Moisturizing cream (with a blue top not green) I use that as well and its extremely moisturizing but dosent make acne worse! goodluck..

U may have pcod, get urself checked. an ultrasound would help also, try benzoyl peroxide Source(s): im a dermatologist
