I am 21 years old and have had acne since i was about 15. Nothing has worked permanantly. Ive tried doxycycline and minocycline (they work but it returns right when im done) tazorac, and just about everything else my dermatologist prescribed. Is there anything else i can try? I would love to try accutane but it recently went off the market. whats the 2nd best option? please help! i am miserable!!!!

I 've had red marks left on my face from previous breakouts for the past year. My face is pretty much clear from acne but the red marks are really annoying and I 'm sick of applying concealer/ foundation/ makeup powder to cover them up. And even then they are still visible. Has anyone used a treatment (either homemade or store-bought) that worked for them?I 've heard that the Neutrogena Acne Mark Fading Peel works really well but it is very expensive so I 'm a little hesitant.

I 've always had a lot of redness all around my mouth, not really big pimples, just lots of acne. I 've tried so many different products, ProActive, Clean & Clear, Repechage, the list could go on forever. I 'm just looking for a at home treatment to help lighten up, or fully get rid of acne. I was reading online that if you mix 1 tablespoon of salt and one teaspoon of olive oil, you can get rid of acne pretty quickly. I also read that it is very effective. Does this work?

the scarring isn 't extreme and its on both cheeks. i don 't have breakouts and haven 't any in about 10 years. i do get a pimple from time to time but i guess everyone does on occasion. so anyway are there any treatments i could get i know about dermabrasions(didn 't work for me and expensive). what else can i do and what treatment is the best. or maybe a cream a doctor can prescribe that will help my problem. or maybe a store brand. i have used mederma, vit-c bio-oil tetracycline, accutane and a few others with no results, well mederma seemed to work a little but after a while stopped. and retin-a worked for my acne when i was young would it work for scarring. thnx, and please no proactiv cause i used it and it sucked ass, and no bullshit home remedies i 'm not gonna go into my fridge and cabinets unless i 'm gonna make something to eat. so please don 't reply if your gonna recommend those solutions.

Hi everyone... I 'm 20 years old, and up until two summers ago, I never got acne. Then I 'm not sure what the hell happened, but my face is destroyed. It 's only in my jaw/ chin/ cheek area (forehead and nose are mostly clear)I can see them coming in under my skin as tiny little white bumps (dozens at any given time), especially noticeable if I stick my tongue against my cheek to flex the skin. Then, after about 2-3 weeks, they grow bigger and more red. I pop them and have to squeeze hard, and the pus pops out. I 'm getting so miserable. Does anyone have any solutions for this specific type of acne? Please helpThank you!

I 've had acne for the past few years and am going to see a dermatologist in April. Thing is, I have it terrible on my back, only moderate on my face now thankfully (but breaking out again)... My face looks kind of rough from having a lot of scars, it makes me uncomfortable and not willing to go into a relationship due to my anxiety. What would you recommend I say to them?

I had a spot on my nose about 4 years ago and i left it alone. i have had the scars for a while now and i really want to get rid of them. they are not bad cause i have seen worse but i 'm very self conscience about it cause i know they are noticeable. what are some procedures i can get done. one i tried and didn 't do jack was the microderm abrasion it cost 150 a session and didn 't help. i asked about laser but they said because of my skin color (dark brown) it would not be recommended. so what else can i use besides all these crazy remedies people on here recommend and the store bought products that don 't work (i have tried many). what other options do i have and how much do they cost. i live in chicago il and also stay in plainfield il area so if anyone can help me it would be helpful.and please no ads for pro activ or any home remedy ideas. you will be flaggedlike i said no home remedies or over the counter stuff. what im looking for is maybe a new kind of medical procedure that has worked for people
